Oro + Plata metalworks

A Labor of Love

Every once and a while we get an opportunity to witness an artist's routine. A Deeper look into someone's process of creation, and the many nuances hidden within their professional practice. It definitely refreshes our understanding of the term “A Labor of love”, and there is no better example of that than Jessica Mahoneys handcrafted jewelry.

Oro + Plata Metalworks, named after the slogan on the Montana state flag and meaning “gold and silver” in Spanish, is one-of-a-kind jewelry created by Jessica Mahoney. Drawing inspiration from art, culture, and the landscapes of her home state, Montana, Jessica builds unique pieces of jewelry meant to be worn and loved for generations.

“From my hands to yours…”

Sometimes a brand benefits from showing how something is made, the kind of transparency with clients that increases curiosity, and well, makes you look cool too. There's a lot that goes into crafting jewelry. Using the blatantly beautifull techniques of O & P,  we structured this video to reflect the hard work behind a finished masterpiece, centered on the description: Raw, Imperfect, Untamed.
